Lena Ill
Generally, priced grain is charged a strait discount, X cents per 1/2 point. my local CGB is 4 cents per 1/2 point. At 10 points that would be 80 cents total discount of the contract price. Stored grain is usually shrunk with a drying charge. Shrinkage varies from place to place, but 1.4 % per point is the most common. On your 2000 bu there should be approx 280 bu shrink, plus a drying charge we ar 3.5 cents per point that would be 35 cents in your case. Of course your local charges will vary a bit but should not be much different.
