is that a 8970 JD than?? I have one, a very good tractor. has 7900 hrs. on it now, and will major it this winter. think its time, as I don't want any trouble showing up the spring... I really like the Cummings engine.. total major, rebuilt heads, injectors, labor, ect. $6000.00, done at the local JD dealer. a JD engine would run about 12,000.00 or more
