Central Missouri | If we have a drought in the U.S. this summer corn/beans will have to be rationed in a major way which could be done by halting export sales for a while until the picture becomes more clear followed by the opening-up of CRP. This would solve the problem and reduce price at the same time; soo, longs could get stuck right in the middle of a free fall at the cbot. If this senario would unfold, and Elwynn says it has a 30% chance the fall would be from much higher back to prices we presently see. Just a possibility not a probability. | |
