Right now, the world demand is too great for any country to build any reserve of any significance. That demand is reason enough for foreign countries to at least try to keep our ag sector working and producing that mountain of foodstuffs we churn out each year.Those people of other lands have gotten a taste of the good life(food in abundance) and now their rulers have little choice than to keep them fed and fed well. If the U.S.congress had any sense they would put a moratorium on any foreign entity buying our last ace in the hole- our precious farmland. | |
