This is going on, a bi-partisan committee is working on this idiocy

The Senate is now working on America’s Climate Security Act, a bi-partisan bill cosponsored by Sen. Joe Lieberman and Sen. John Warner. It intends to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 65% below 1990 levels by 2050.

I'm sure that won't affect the economy at all.  What's worse, is nobody can prove it's even neccessary.  I've been reading some links lately that the Russians think we'll be in the deep freeze by 2050.
