| That thing runs RIGHT THOUGH THE MIDDLE of 2 of my farms. One farm we just had a LOT of tile and waterway work done last year-this is going to be a mess.
We already have 3 large existing pipelines from Texas panhandle, they had to be out here during our tile work-now I guess we will have 2 companies to be here.
Panhandle lines were put in during the 50's. The existing lines are 30" in diameter! One guy hit one with a backhoe about 3 miles west of here a couple years ago. Killed him-and fire was so hot it melted the backhoe like a piece of licorice. They told me the absolute mininum was 40 inches. But when they probed our farm a couple washes they were only 20inches! But they never offered to do anything about it, I flagged it myself I am no-till and don't do anything deep but even with the anhydrous bar I get a little nervous in that area. | |
