West Union, IOWA FLOLO Farm 52175
Pete, I'll agree with you on the livestock, and that's my biggest fear we're going to chase livestock out only to be in dire situation when things turn as livestock has always been refered to Mortgage lifter's.

I should have been a little clearer in the "feedstock" I'm refering to in this post though, Bio-fuel is going pretty strong and places are starting to pay over $60ton for any"fiber" as long as it's under 40% moisture and in reasonable condition. Most of it right now is going for a direct coal strecher but from what I've been hearing 3 all bio-fuel plants are on the drawing board( 1 ethenol, 2 power reworks).

Sorry for the confusion, but some folks are realizing farmers can't afford to just donate our time and equipment for the cause. The guy's I've been hearing from will take anything from fenceline clearing to musty hay and just has to be ground and blended (they do the blending). --loran
