  ...I'll express some doubts about your logic.  In the Land of a $3,000,000,000,000.00 budget, $43 mil is chump change.  Those studies will enter the twilight zone of most other federally funded studies.

  Nevertheless, having just passed the bill to mandate usage, I'd reckon ethanol has staying power.  I'm not sure it won't be imported, though. Or made from something other than stuff we could otherwise eat.  Just an opinion.
