Dave, Spray Now! Or You Will Not Have Anything To Spray! Leaf Hoppers,Leaf Hoppers my man. Here in Pa. any time you start to see a redish brown tent around the outside edges of alfalfa leaves in late June/ July, it's leaf hoppers. Spray as soon as you see this and ask ? later. If the alfalfa is ready to cut,cut now and spray the stubble.
