| Good ground in this area is selling for up to $8000. We recently bought a good farm for $6000. I'm starting to think we got a deal... imagine that.
The University of Illinois just put some ground for bid in this area... rumor is it went for around $310 an acre (that was when Dec. corn was around $4.20). Other farms in the area are all bringing $200+
I've heard of landlords wanting to go back to 50/50. You sure didn't see this when things were tough. | |
