Goff Kansas | not from the corn belt, but my thinking was that corn is winning hands down in the C-belt. with the ratio around 2.4 -1, beans need to gain some ground to be competitive with corn in the heart of corn country.. In the marginal areas is where beans will pick up acres. The question that has been on my mind, is will we find enough "new" acres to fill the void. i think we will come close, and agree with KT, that the report will be slightly bearish for all.. We will see what i know though. i thought 87 would catch the corn number last yr, and was only off by 5 mil. acres.. | |
