So why are you making an issue of it? I don't believe "guest" who asks the question is farming at your "here". what he needs is an answer for his farm, not yours.

I believe you hold Marvin Hall in high regard. Why don't you ask Marvin Hall about planting alfalfa back-to-back?
(P.S. I believe I know Marvin well enough that I can guess pretty close what he will say.)
