We always shut down the sprayers when the temperature is over 90. Local co-op does too. If the plant is stressed and all the stoma are closed to conserve moisture, the plant can't absorb much of the chemical you put on. I think the Monsanto reps many years ago may be the source of the 90 deg rule we use.
