| I did another clean install, but this time I deleted my whole profile and every Mozilla folder after uninstalling Firefox. I set up sync after installing, but I didn't sync'd my profile from the cloud after reinstalling, but also recreated it from scratch, adding my email and NAT and other tabs manually. Seems to have done the trick, and so now even my profile in the cloud should be fixed, in case it was also corrupted.
I didn't even bother with the profile Reset feature, resetting both the profile and app seemed preferable. I should have tried that in the first place...
