You should have rubbed afterbirth from the mature cow on the calf you wanted to foster over, or skin dead calf and tie hide over other calf for a few days. But that's too late now. I've had some good luck sprinkling scented talcum powder on calf and cows head, but you will have to repeat several times a day for a while.
