If cattle can see straight to where they are going they will balk in a confined forced situation but for some reason if they cannot see over or through or around they will go up. The first one is always the hardest, after that follow the leader goes into play and it's usually not much effort.
Now with that said Ben, not everyone has the best layout of dirt or area to do things like that. I fully understand building for what you have room for and are able to do.
I'd be a hypocrite to chastise anyones pens and working chutes if they seen the cobbled up mess we have used for years. | |
