| You can buy decent 5-6 wt. black calves for $1-1.10 and looks like they are going to be worth at least a $1 as fats next spring, if not more. If you can utilize distillers and with corn weakening, I think you can make a few bucks feeding this winter. But I feel your pain too, definitely not the kind of money we were making a few years ago. Usually the guy who does little to nothing comes out farther ahead than the guy who works his butt off, but he has no character and you do. | |
