northwest tennessee | I have cows and calves and agree with the feeder calves. I work for a guy that buys cattle some and he buys small calves that are just ready to go on feed. He gets them cheap because no one wants them. They cant get enough to get a load so they go cheap. His loss is very small but will have some trouble at times but they respond well to antibiotics. He makes more on them than any size and they will really grow. He feeds 2/3 soy pellets and 1/3 corn cluten pellets. | |
