| Yeh i agree with you there. Green calf is always desirable. With this kind off weather we have been having all the calves have been gaining real well an it doesnt take much feed to do it. It got real hot here today. Your from nebraska like i am. If i remember right. In addition to being fleshy. I am sure some off those calves took on a fill to. So all in all the calves were definitly not in empty condition. What sale barn did you attend? Hope you can find some green calves to graze your stalks an wheat stubble.
