As far as green silage goes, unless you need the feed for some reason, I would tend to leave it as long as possible, especially if you have a processor. Since the custom guys have gotten them here, we have never had corn run in the bunker, Im sure not more than 75% moisture. As near as we figure, plant earlier, harvest a bit later. Always seems to pay off, but may not always be possible.
