I took another photo of my Petersen waterer over the weekend. Two cows were drinking at the same time. It reminded me that one thing I did do is to change the brass ball float they provide to a Franklin flat float. The flat float has a better fill/time curve. I do like the plastic top of the newer Petersen's rather than the older stainless even though I am usually a stainless steel guy. Whatever plastic they use is tough and insulates better than steel. Easy to remove also. This is a very well built product. Jim at Dawn
