Subject: Feeding frosted sudangrass?

Adrian MI
Had a hard frost last Saturday and Sunday morning on our sudangrass. Most of it is still standing, but some of it was cut and windrowed Friday night before the frost. We want to chop and feed the stuff that was windrowed now and leave the sudangrass that is still standing for a week before cutting it. We have had 2 different answers on feeding the stuff that was cut. One guy says its fine to feed because it was not attached to the root when it frosted, the other guy said it may still have prussic acid in the leaves even though it was cut down. We can test for it, however it takes 2 weeks.
So who's right? Thanks!

Jason
