Good vet's are pretty accurate. It's not hard to do if your just wanting to know if she is close up to calving or not. Just reach in and then down, and hopefully you will feel a head. I've had a vet explain to me how to do the earlier trimesters, but I'll let them take care of that. LOL, I'm guessing that takes lots of practice.
