West Salem, Illinois | The post below "Just for Fun" got me to thinking, I need a different bull. My cows are of mixed origin, a dozen came from a neighbor they are 1/2 hereford and are mostly RWF. The rest of the cows are Black Simmi/Angus. The question is would i be totally diluted to be looking for a good Red Angus or Red Sim?
Since i basically have two herds thought alot about AIing, and save heifers out of only the ones that come from AI. Does anyone do this? What bulls would you use? What would you get for a cleanup bull?
