| How can I "Prove it?" Here at home where I can rotate I can comfortably run one pair per 1 1/2 to 2 acres, and get the opportunity to cut some fescue seed or hay off a portion of those acres. I'll also normally stockpile a portion of those for some winter grazing. On my rented pastures, where I'm not set up for MIG, I normally run a pair per 3 acres max, and bring all the hay in to them. YMMV of course, but if you don't think that properly utilizing MIG can increase your stocking rates OR cut hay use OR both, then you haven't tried very hard | |
