Sorry, forgot to answer your original question, I always plant a silage corn to either maximize silage or grazing tonnage whichever I end up using it for. I guess if you're not sure if you'll graze or chop it you might consider a reg corn to harvest ? If you know you are going to graze its plant tonnage not so much yeild you are after.
