| Rich, the best luck I have had getting the earthmover tire bottoms sealed is by putting dry bentonite down, then dry reddi-mix concrete. Gently fill with water. So far so good. No caulk and no leaky seams.
The water line comes up in the middle of the bottom with a Lewis/Watson float valve.
My water likes to eat off the chains on the float. I bought a new deal I saw at the lumberyard. A brass rod with a sliding collar with set screw to be used with the pancake and donut style floats.
Also I have a 4" drain in the bottom of the last tanks I put in. Pull the riser pipe and the tank drains like a big bathtub. | |
