Missouri
Missouri, Lots of stupid people not aware of the conditions working our fire dept to a frazzle. Rain tonight will slow it for a while. Usually lasts only a week or so. Really early this year. Fescue gets really dry. CRP and wind makes big fires easy. Hay is everywhere, low quality 30-40 dollars a ton, with no buyers. We have a goal of getting by without processed forage, this year should set a record of the least amount ever used. Should be lots of carry over. Feb 10th and not feeding unheard of. Our cow markets very strong and killer cows getting close to $60. Good cattle are being rewarded. We got it pretty good here, compared to you. Sorry will not be offering to trade places. Report from NCBA convention of one area of Texas has not had measurable rain for 13 mths. that would be really bad.
