Cleaning hard pack off hog slats?

If I can remember to do it, I let the feeders run out and turn on the soakers and let the pigs play and stomp the manure into the pit. Most of the time it's a little better if you've already topped out a load or 2 so they have more room to run around. The nice thing is that they'll get the really hard stuff near the feeders (otherwise it's a wash/soak/wash/soak thing until it comes up. The biggest problem is letting the feeders dry out a little before starting the feed back - depending on your feeder it can end up clogging things up.

I can't imagine trying to clean a finisher without soaking - you'd have to use enough pressure that it likely blast away the concrete also. btw there is no such thing as too big of a pressure washer (I'm only at 10hp and a friend has a 15hp that really gets with it - of course the electric meter about wears out a bearing when he uses it).
