Kooiker, thanks for the information my waters are by the slats not the feeders though the barn has a curtain on the southside also were the slats are so I'll worried about rain in the summer getting in the feeders if I can may try moving the feeders on a pen or two to see if it helps......the barns getting pretty old but I would like to try getting a few more years of use out of it
