Thunder Bay, Ontario, Great White North | Hey Dave, where are you located? Your cows certainly look happy, I wish I could get enough shavings to be able to bed like that! We have to really scrounge to get a load here or there, I am currently using straw on the freestalls but it is a big mess compared to good shavings or sawdust.
If you need any parts for your VSO takeoffs, I have about 10 in the attic above the parlor in various condition - we always had troubles getting them to wash properly and went to Westfalia takeoffs with an electrode sensor.
Haven't seen the old style electrobrain wash unit in use for a few years, most guys around here have already tossed the newer units for something more reliable. |
