Subject: RE: pics of my economical dairy set up

Hi,
I spend alot of time taking care of the cows, I think the cows are the thing I like most about farming. I had similar trouble getting sawdust/shavings too, so whenever I can get some I get as many loads as possible, I can keep one dump truck at home and on a famr I rent theres an old quonset building I fill up. Seems easier to get sawdust in the fall, maybe because the racehorse bunch send there horses south for the winter.
I will keep you in mind about the VSO parts, I have a large supply myself, everytime I see parts or a parlor at auction to do my best to bring it home, not too hard these days they go pretty cheap. They are troublesme to wash and sometimes even to milk, I clamp them open to wash with small vise grips, not fancy but it works. I really like the way things are set up, its real simple stuff compared to some of the new places I have visited.
For now (its a long story) we are close to toronto, but looking to move next year up around lindsay or peterborough
Take care
