Saronville NE | I agree Roy. We background a few head every yr, and have been making money. You hear alot of blood baths in the finished fat cattle, but I have heard guys that are making money doing that also, they buy the cattle, feed and sell all in one day and are protecting themselves and have made money. Im not saying you can do this all the time, but there are oppurtunities out there.
Feelnrite, Im not trying to be a smartalec, but you should have sold out a few weeks ago on the upswing, and now we are in a downturn again. JMO, not trying to make you mad. 3-5 weeks ago here cattle were just about as good as they were over a yr ago. We need to buy some more for grass, and heck Im having to give just as much for those type of cattle as I did a yr ago. | |
