northwest tennessee | I agree with you I missed a window there. What I was saying about the grain prices is that cattle dont need the grain going up with all the other stuff going on. It would not be good. I still have hope for another window to open. I think grain is going to keep going down and feb. is not normally a good month because of mud and winter dragging on. Sunshine and grass greening up has a positive effect on cattlemen. I may be smoking something I dont know. One thing I do have going for me is I have cut my feed cost in half and have gone to gin trash distillers grains and soy hull pellets. I have steers getting big though and the market is not wanting them much now. It is just a crazy time for everything. You didnt make me mad at all. I think I should have prolly sold before a month ago. Maybe even off the cow this year. | |
