I'm sorry if I was too harsh in calling you a Peta lover. I agree with you 101% we need to police our industry ourselves. But I will defend any and all livestock practices I use as being humane treatment of animals. In Fact the wife and I talked about this very thing today. A fellow cattlemen in our area has left two dead cows by the side of the road on his ground ( open range). They were hit by a car a month ago. Hundreds of people drive by this place daily. This man is lobbying for a position in Gov. right now. I can't believe he did this. Trust me I will be calling him and state cattle assoc. to complain about it.

The real problem isn't with these wacko groups, everybody has a right to believe in there own beliefs in this country. The problem is with these judges that rule in favor of these whack jobs, and try to make new law from their benches, not interpret the law as they should. They don't use sound science in their decisions. As I've asked before where is the checks and balances that controls these far out of line judges? All I get is every body's dumb founded looks when I ask the question.

L.G., I will tell you I spend each and every day trying to educate someone about our industry, and fighting these wacko groups that are trying to end our way of life. We also need to help educate our own people in our industry as well.
