Fullarton, ON | Ok, around noon today, I noticed a 1 month old billy looking uncomfortable and bleating away. Looked like it had a little thick, sticky, black scours. Thought it was maybe a little indigestion. Went back at about 6 and it was laying down and very weak. It would get up every now and then and stumble around like it was dizzy or drunk or something. It was not interested in its mothers milk. I shot some penicillen and milk replacer down its throat and left. Came back hour later and it was dead. Has anyone else had this happen? It was a little skinnier than the other kids put it still had something in its stomach. What would make it die so fast? By the way it was a boer goat. | |
