Yes I've seen them have a rupture like that before. If still alive sew him up., give some antibiotics. My weird one for the day was a cow that calved, cleaned the calf up. Then she was eating the afterbirth and choked on it. Found her dead, with half the afterbirth hanging out of her mouth. This was a first for us.
Have you every seen this before?
