East Central Kansas | For those of you having problems with angus here is what i can say. While at college i worked for a guy with an angus seedstock herd, his herd was almost exclusively closed other than buying a bull every couple years or so, most of the time he kept his own bulls to use. He has been breeding cows for disposition for 50 years, the first sign of hostility or agression and they are gone. After graduation 2007 i bought 20 heifers and bought 10 more this year. They are hands down the most docile cows i have ever been around, and i grew up on a dairy. However I spend at least an hour a week just out around them, they know i am no threat. So its not the whole breed just some of the breeders who chose not to cull for disposition
