Subject: RE: Spreading red clover on pasture

Little River, TX
For most of a life time there was a German Extraction forage specialest at Oklahoma's Noble Foundation. (Please do not ask me to spell his name) He was the man with the ideas for low cost realistic forage management for livestock.
The way RL D. put out seed was a spreader on the back of a 4 wheeler and then turn the cattle in to incorporate the seed. He would put a round bale in the pasture. When that hay was gone he pulled the cattle out of the pasture.

He had some interesting ideas on how to water livestock in a pond or stream, & not destroy the banks.

RL has been retired for about 10 years now and raises native forages for seed.
