Subject: Re: Overseed some of Your harvested w Jap Millet or WInter Triticale

New Mexico
Don't know when you harvest your various crops but if some that is in July Aug or Sept...You should have plenty of growing season to grow winter grazable crops.

Jap millet likes heat, does not need much moisture and and has big yield tonnage ( 15 to 20 tons per acre ) with high protien.

Winter triticale, plant it in the fall and graze it till the next spring.

Using the afore if feasible....and the cows do all the harvest work too!
