Mississippi | Through the years we've had friends in Iowa who came to south Mississippi -- Gulfport/Biloxi areas -- to golf. They'd come for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. Overall, they said it was a bargain compared to other areas with a lot of courses. But the rentals and hotels were reasonable, considering it was the middle of winter. Age has caught up with them, and they curtailed the trips several years before Katrina.
