EC MN
Our church has a funeral committee which is seperate from the serving groups. We offer a choice of three main dishes, scalloped potatoes & ham, wild rice hotdish, or mini lasagna. We order buns from the bakery, some times the family wants a meat & cheese tray in addition. We then ask the serving groups to donate salads and desserts. Church supplies lemonade, milk and coffee. By having a group of ladies making the main dish, we feel less food is wasted. It works really good for us.
