Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | Several folks in my immediate circle have the same feelings you do. As for me, I'd rather have snakes in the yard than mice/rats/moles/voles/etc. Am not fond of rodents AT ALL. Snakes eat rodents, therefore, snakes = good! I won't intentionally mow over a snake and feel bad when I accidentally chop one. They do startle me when I'm walking in the grass and first see one.....I'll draw up short and pause. But once the snake and I both know where the other one is, I'm pretty much fine w/them. |
