Subject: RE: Attached garage heat source in northern climates

Parents have a 20x30 garage. Heat source is an outdoor boiler running hot water through an old steam radiator with a fan behind hanging from the ceiling. It was -20 plenty of times this winter, the doors never froze shut.....

A few times in the winter the moisture will collect on the door glass, but after a couple of timed running a vehicle in and out, the dry winter air exchanges and moisture problems are gone.

It doesn't matter what heat source you use, the moisture will forever be in the building unless you exchange the air.
