NE North Dakota
Floor heat… Would never build a shop or garage without. My experience is completely opposite from your electrician and lumberyard man. Floor heat in the shop. Humidity is actually quite low majority if the time around 20%. Floor is dry within hours of bringing anything full of snow in and it’s finished dripping. As previously stated have adequate drainage too

House I have with attached garage has forced air furnace in garage. The windows in my garage doors and window get extremely wet when we bring a wet vehicle in garage, snowy vehicle same story. Worst part is 12-15 hours after a slush snow filled vehicle comes in I have chunks on the floor that take days to melt or I scoop them up and take them outside. I never see this in my shop.

Both places generally kept at 50-60 degrees
