Pontiac, IL.
I have 28x36 attached garage. Floor heat. 6" wall insulation, 12" ceiling. 1" foil back styrofoam under concrete. Heat with 1- 30 gallon natural gas water heater . Floor . well sloped to drain. The comment that "evaporation is evaporation" may be right, BUT what goes down the drain does NOT have to evaporate. NO moisture problem or door freezing problem here. (90 mile south of Chicago). Floor heat cost a little more initially, but the CHEAPEST in the long run.
